extraordinary memories
Raising little people is beautiful, exhausting, loud, messy, and somehow over far too quickly. As a mom of four, I know what it feels like to live in the middle of the chaos. To some days wondering if I really will ever miss the toys scattered across the floor, the constant snacks, or the little voice calling for the one thousandth time, "Mom, watch this!" But the truth is, I know onne day I will... and you will too.
The moments that shape a childhood rarely look extraordinary while you're living them. That's why I believe the ordinary is worth documenting. Not because your home has to be perfect or your children have to sit still, but because your life—exactly as it is right now—is already beautiful. Lets create photographs that allow you to step back into this season years from now, remembering not only what your family looked like, but what it felt like to love and be loved here.
The newborn days have a way of feeling both beautifully slow and impossibly fleeting. My newborn sessions are designed to preserve this season just as it unfolds, capturing the quiet moments of connection, the overwhelming love, and the gentle rhythm of life at home with your newest little one. The result is honest, timeless artwork that allows you to remember how it felt to be in these first precious days as a new family.
An at-home family session is designed to preserve the beauty of your family's everyday life. Rather than focusing on perfectly posed portraits, we'll document the rhythms, traditions, and little moments that make this season uniquely yours. Whether you're making pancakes, reading books, playing in the backyard, or simply slowing down together, these sessions celebrate and bring to life the authentic connection that already exists within your home. The result is timeless, meaningful artwork that tells your family's story exactly as it is.
Light is the most important factor I am looking at for your home. You don't need magazine worthy decor, or a spotless house. All I need is a window in your home that gets beautiful natural light that streams in. My recommendation is to look at the south and east rooms of your home in the morning on a bright sunny day and see where light is streaming through.
My sessions take place during the weekday mornings around 10 am when the light will be most beautiful in your home. I highly recommend making this a special day! Take a vacation day, pull the kids out of school and plan a fun activity for your family that will be a core memory for years to come.
I schedule all my newborn sessions based on due date and only take a limited amount per month. I feel I can serve my clients best when I have room in my schedule to work around unexpected circumstances that weather and life can bring.
You will have the option to purchase all digiatal files, but it is a passion of mine to make sure my clients images don't die on their hard drive. Together we can discuss what that would look like for your family, whether it is fine art albums, custom framing, or an heirloom box of prints.
YES!
I use natural light for all of my sessions. It is essential to creating those glowing family photos you see in my portfolio. It is always my suggestion that we wait for a day with a lot of sunshine.
YAY! That is so great - next step is to fill out my contact form and schedule a consult call. From there, your date will not be reserved on my calendar until I have a completed contract and payment for the session fee. We can work together on your consult call to find a date that would best work for your family.
I'm a Dallas, TX family and newborn photographer who is passionate about preserving the magic moments of every day living, creating images that feel like a commissioned piece of art. I love to meet each family in the comfort of their home and am drawn to organic, light-filled, joyful moments doing what they love.
When I am not documenting the beautiful ordinary moments in your family's home I am spending moments soaking in time with my husband and four children, going on a long outdoor run, or enjoying intentional time with friends.
